GAT Virtual Expo starts today

(Colombia, SoloAzar Exclusive).- Today it starts the first edition of GAT Virtual Expo, which will be held until Thursday, October 15th and will count with a commercial exhibition of the most remarcable companies of the sector and an important agenda including Business Rounds, conferences and more events.

GAT Virtual Expo counts with a complete academic agenda coordinated by Team Seven, including the Forum about the New Normal in the Gaming Industry, which will be held today, the corporate conferences on Wednesday 14 and the introduction to Masterclasses TGA (Totally Gaming Academy) on Thursday, October 15th.
Besides, LATAM Business Rounds, targeted to the markets of Mexico, Peru, Colombia, Panama, Argentina and Bolivia, will be held during the three-day show. Experts in legislation of each country will participate, and the rounds will count with the support of JCM Gaming Consultants.
Academic agenda, Tuesday, October 13th:
Panel of Regulators: From 10 am to 12.30 pm
The central theme is the future of traditional casinos and online gaming. The impact of restrictive measures from the commercial point of view, the present and future implications from the regulations, interaction with the legal framework of each country will be analyzed with a view to developing and adapting regulations. These and other topics will be treated by the authorities that govern gambling in Colombia, Peru, Chile, Argentina and Puerto Rico.
Panelists: Manuel San Román, General Director of Casino, Games and Slots of MINCETUR, Peru, Juan B. Pérez Hidalgo, Cojjuegos President, Colombia, Sebastián Vivot, Manager of Modernization and IT of the Lottery of the City of Buenos Aires (LOTBA), Argentina, José Maymo Azize, Executive Director of the Gaming Commission of the Government of Puerto Rico and Rodrigo Ajenjo, Casino Superintendence, Chile.
Panel Latam Associations of Operators: From 12.30 to 2.30 pm
The evaluation of the short- and medium-term impact of the temporary closure of casinos and gaming rooms will be the central topic of this panel. Issues such as the return of players to the casino, the proliferation of sports betting and online gaming websites, the sustainability of localized games will be addressed. Also special requests that will be raised to regulators and governments, referring to gradualness or lower taxes to try to balance the losses generated by the crisis, and strategies for the effective control of informal virtual operations. Directors of federations and associations from Colombia, Peru, Mexico and Argentina will participate. Panelists: Juan Carlos Restrepo, President of Asojuegos, Colombia, Elizabeth Maya Cano, Cornazar Executive Director, Colombia, Evert Montero Cárdenas, Fecoljuegos President, Colombia, Fernando Calderón, from SONAJA, Peru and Miguel Ángel Ochoa from AIEJA, Mexico.
There will also be a discussion about the organization of face-to-face fairs in the current circumstances and the emergence of hybrid events that integrate the virtual with the face-to-face, which today is the mandatory modality that convention centers, congresses and symposia are implementing. Ana María Arango and Paula Quintero, representatives for Latin America of the Union of International Fairs, will participate in this debate.
The Manufacturers and Operators Panel will be the last event on today's academic agenda. There they will discuss the current situation, effects, perspectives of the relationship between suppliers, products and companies operating localized and online games. The great exhibitors of the traditional fairs of America and Europe will be able to analyze the return of the face-to-face fairs and the experience they live in the digital world. Max Bauer and Manuel del Sol from Novomatic and José Aníbal Aguirre and Lida María Roldán from 3A Producciones will be the moderators.
At the end of each day, Penta Marketing, 3A Producciones, Soloazar y Team Seven ofrecerán show rooms and virtual bingo B2C on a special networking scenario.
